Dr Ashok Sadanandam is an experienced UK-trained psychiatrist, with dual fellowships from the Royal Australian & New Zealand College and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.
Dr Sadanandam completed his post-graduate psychiatry training in the UK, obtaining his Membership with the RCPsych, London in 2010 and further specialization in developmental psychiatry through Cardiff University, Wales in 2013. As a recognition of his service, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2021. He has held pivotal roles as a consultant psychiatrist within the National Health Service and private sector in the UK, with over two decades of work practice and dual accreditation in general adult and developmental psychiatry.
After relocating to Australia, he was recognised as Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2024. Dr Sadanandam has expertise in IDD/ASD, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, addictions and various common psychiatric conditions. Dr Sadanandam is proficient in medicolegal report writing and offers his services at Synergy Specialist clinic through in-person, home visits or telehealth platforms.
