Dr. Deepak Garg
CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST

Dr Garg is a consultant psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in psychiatry. He completed advanced training in adult and consultation liaison psychiatry in the UK and worked as a consultant psychiatrist for 4 years in the National Health Service (NHS) prior to moving to Australia in 2015.
He is a committee member of Private Psychiatry committee and section of ECT and Neurstimulation of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He is also a member of the International Clinical TMS Society. He has been actively involved in various national and international research projects and publications in the area of Neurostimulation and Mood Disorders. He worked as the Clinical Lead for Mood Disorder Service for the Gold Coast Health.
Dr. Garg also works as the Honorary Senior Lecturer at Griffith University Medical School. He has expertise in treating complex and refractory mood disorders, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(rTMS).

Dr. Sandeep Naik
CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST

Dr. Naik is a specialist psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience in psychiatry. Following his initial training in India, he moved to Singapore, where he further trained and obtained his specialist psychiatric qualifications. He worked as a consultant psychiatrist for a year in Singapore before moving to New Zealand and then to Australia in 2017. He has been working as a consultant psychiatrist with Gold Coast Mental health services since then.
Dr. Naik is well regarded by his colleagues and patients for his patient-centred and recovery-focused approach. From his experiences working as a psychiatrist in different countries and with people from different cultural backgrounds, he has developed an ability to acknowledge the cultural aspects influencing a person’s mental health and strives to incorporate a holistic approach to the assessment and care provided.

Dr Vineel Reddy began his career in the field of psychiatry in the United Kingdom. He obtained his Membership with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London in 2010.
He then underwent further training in General Adult Psychiatry and Consultation Liaison that led to his awarding of the UK Certification of Completion of Training in 2013. He attained a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry from Ireland. He further pursued a Masters of Business Administration to complement his vision to better the provision of clinical psychiatry services within public healthcare.
Dr Reddy worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the UK National Health Service for several years before migrating to Australia in 2018. He was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal Australian and New ZealandCollege of Psychiatrists in 2019.
Dr Reddy has the expertise and a wealth of experience in the assessments and management of ADHD patients. He is an associate member of the Australian ADHD Professional Association (AADPA). Dr Reddy also has an interest in supporting the treatment of defence personnel currently serving as well as veterans. He is a member of the Australian Military Medicine Association (AMMA).
Dr Reddy has the expertise in medical report writing for defence mental health claims which is his current area of focus. He has helped several ADF as well as veterans to go through their claims process by providing expert medical reports. These reports included liability claims and impairment assessments and supported medical discharges. Through his experience he has become aware that often defence personnel must wait long periods of time to access a psychiatrist for their medical reports. They often struggle with the reports being done in a timely manner which can exacerbate their mental health issues whilst they are waiting. Therefore, he would like to help in this area to relieve them of the stresses that are often faced. Dr Reddy is also able to write comprehensive management plans for the treatment of their mental health conditions. These plans can then be administered by their GP. Dr Reddy is also happy to oversee them.
Dr Reddy has over 10 years’ experience as a consultant psychiatrist. He works with a group of psychiatrists in the outpatient setting at Synergy Specialist Clinic as well as manages inpatients at The Southport Private Hospital on the Gold Coast where he is able to offer patients the latest evidence treatments including neuromodulation. He has an interest in treating PTSD, depression, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders as well as ADHD. He provides his services via telehealth, in person or in an inpatient setting.
Dr Reddy endeavours to effectively engage his patients, families, and caregivers. He is sensitive to the privacy and the confidentiality of his patients. He advocates for a holistic model of care and utilises a range of treatment options tailored to the needs of the individual and to promote their recovery in close collaboration with primary care services.

Dr. Anish Unadkat

Dr Anish Unadkat is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist. He is able to treat patients aged 16 and above. Trained in London, UK, Dr Unadkat has twenty years of experience in Psychiatry. Dr Unadkat has worked previously in public and private sectors. Dr Unadkat has a broad expertise in General Adult Psychiatry. He additionally developed proficiency in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy whilst working at St Vincent’s hospital, Melbourne and through training courses with the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists.
Dr. Anna Lenardon

Dr. Anna Lenardon graduated from the University of Milan, Italy with Honours in 2000. She trained in Psychiatry in London and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrist (UK) in 2016 and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2018. She attained a Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice System (University of Surrey, England) in 2016.
Dr. Lenardon is an accredited member of the RANCP Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry, a member of the Australian & New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law, Queensland Medico-Legal Society and Australian Association of Bioethics and Health Law; she is an honorary adjunct professor, School of Medicine, Faculty of Health, Bond University.
Dr. Lenardon has worked in a variety of psychiatric settings including tertiary teaching hospitals and community clinics, gaining experience in managing complex psychiatric conditions. Her professional and research interests include psychopharmacology, clinical teaching and the impact of adverse life events and trauma on the individual’s personality.
Dr. Lenardon provides an individualised, recovery-oriented approach, incorporating evidence-based practice within a broader holistic approach to well-being. Dr. Lenardon undertakes a thorough assessment to understand the biological, psychological, social and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to mental health difficulties and to establish a rational basis for treatment. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lenardon has extensive experience of medico-legal work, entailing the assessment of clients involved in civil and criminal matters.

Chloe Makin

Chloé is a Clinical Psychologist and board approved supervisor registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has 15+ years of psychology related employment and voluntary experience and has been practicing as a registered psychologist since 2015. She seeks to offer an authentic, mindfully attuned and compassionate approach, integrating psychological interventions dependent on individual needs. She is trained and experienced in evidence-based therapies including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Mindfulness.
As Chloé has specific interest in psychodynamic and somatic modalities, she has and continues to undertake training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and Somatic Movement & Dance Therapy (SMT).
Chloé has worked in private practice in rural remote and urban areas. She has worked with a range of people from varying cultural and language backgrounds. Some of these include: asylum seekers living in government detention, adolescents and adults from aboriginal communities, adult and adolescent survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, people from LGBTIQAP+ communities, frontline workers, veteran families. Chloé has also worked in the private mental health hospital Currumbin Clinic, where she facilitated inpatient and outpatient group and individual therapy for adults presenting with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, personality disorder, and eating disorder.

Dr. Monika Goyal has experience in mental health for the past 8 years. She has worked in the United Kingdom and Australia and has completed training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at the Black Dog Institute, Sydney.
Dr Goyal recognises the benefits of TMS and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals who suffer from depression through TMS therapy. She has an excellent approach to patient centred care and ensures patients have the best possible experience while undergoing treatment.
